Tao Te Ching - 29

To try and control the world,

I think it cannot be done.

The world is a sacred place,

It cannot be forced;

It cannot be controlled.

Doing by force will fail;

Trying to control brings loss.

Thus cultivators act by non-doing,

Then you cannot fail or lose.

People can be leading or following,

Can be fast or slow;

Can be strong or vulnerable;

Can be secure or in peril.

Cultivators eliminate extremes, extravagance, and excessiveness.

27 – Tao Te Ching

The one good at walking will not leave any trace;

The one good at speaking will not make a slip of the tongue;

The one good at counting will not need a calculator;

The one good at watching the door will not need a bolt;

The one good at making a knot will not need extra rope.

Thus cultivators:

Always help others, so no one is abandoned.

Always take care of things, so nothing is left behind.

This is called inner-wisdom.

So a good person is the bad person's teacher;

A bad person is the good person's lesson.

If the teacher is not valued,

Or the lesson is not learned,

One is indeed lost, despite being smart.

This is the profound truth.

A co-cultivator and spiritual partner team

8-Tao Te Ching

The highest goodness is like water,

Which nourishes everything with no effort.

It is content with the low places that most people dislike.

Thus it is the closest to the Tao.

In dwelling, live in a good environment;

In heart, keep deep and profound feelings;

In giving, be easy and generous;

In speaking, use kind and encouraging words;

In governing, carry out good and practical policies;

In work, uphold your talented skills.

In action, start with good timing.

When one lets go of competition,

She will be at no faults.

6 - Tao Te Ching

The formless shen/spirit never dies,

It is like the great, mysterious mother.

The gate of the great, mysterious mother,

Is the root of creation for heaven and earth,

And although invisible, long will it last;

Never to be depleted.

Taoist Light Cultivator

A cultivator usually means the one who cultivates an agriculture field; one who puts work, energy, attention, and time into growing plants, pulling out weeds, and eventually harvesting the flowers and fruits.

A Taoist Light cultivator means the one who cultivates Taoist Light Qigong with patience and persistence to harvest health, vitality, and the highest goodness.

Cultivations:

1. Weeding: remove illness Qi and negative energy: hate, greed, delusion, distrust & arrogance which can cause obstacles and distraction.

2. Fertilizer: Yang Qi (healthy life energy) and light force (illumination)

3. Harvest: the attainment of the Tao

Three Stages of Cultivation:

Stage 1: Cultivate life-force/energy to keep healthy and vital

Stage 2: Cultivate mind/heart to remain in the pure quiescence state

Stage 3: Cultivate the highest goodness in order to be one with the Tao

May you cultivate a field in your heart that endures storms and blooms in all seasons!

Happy Lunar New Year Of Ox

May you have a great year of health, light, peace and abundence!

May your cultivation for energy/ life-force be like the ox: steadfast, and you will be reaping what you sow.
